Heather L. Hay, Ph.D. - completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at
the University of Montana and received her master’s and doctoral
degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. Dr. Hay is
a clinical fellow of the American and International Associations of Marriage
and Family Therapists and a member of the Association for Death Education
and Counseling. She is a NYS licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and previous AAMFT
approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Hay is an active leader in the
professional community, including serving as Past President of the Central Chapter of the New
York State Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
With 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. Hay currently works in private
practice in Syracuse, NY and serves as an
educator and professional consultant on issues of illness, grief, trauma,
and bereavement to national and international audiences.
