Heather L. Hay, Ph.D. - completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at
the University of Montana. She received her master’s and doctoral
degrees in Marriage and Family Therapy from Syracuse University. Dr. Hay is
a clinical fellow of the American and International Associations of Marriage
and Family Therapists and a member of the Association for Death Education
and Counseling. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and an AAMFT
approved clinical supervisor. Dr. Hay is an active leader in the
professional community and is President of the Central Chapter of the New
York State Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.
With 17 years of experience, Dr. Hay currently works in private
practice in Syracuse, NY. She is also co-founder of
Hall & Hay ConsultingAssociates ,
LLP ( www.HandHConsultingAssociates.com ) and serves as an
educator and professional consultant on issues of illness, grief, trauma,
and bereavement to national and international audiences.
